I have previous artwork sheets that gives definitions of what each principle and element mean and what to look for when searching to take images that represent each. I know I was supposed to to 14 slides but I know Rhythm is a principle of art but the professors list does not say rhythm but contrast so I put a picture in for both making 15 slides. Here what i did was follow the directions. When looking for shapes I took a picture of something that consisted of all similar shapes such as circles. For color I wanted to use a previous art project that had bold bright colors that made the piece really stand out to me personally. For proportion/scale I have a small plant thats supposed to look like a little child and thought why not throw that in there because its interesting and different and the scale is proportion to that of what a young child would stand the height of. for contrast I used an object that supports 3 elements This sorority greek delta has texture, line, color, shape and somewhat space in the middle. For line and balance I used tattoos , For emphasis I used an old photo I took on Halloween I painted my afce as a sugar skull and I thought the dark background making my face stand out with the texture of the glitter the lines and the stickers as well as the colors really made my face pop!
I really liked all of your pictures. One that really stood out to me was emphasis. This was a really cool picture and was a really good example of the element. I like how you used pictures that included yourself. It gave your pictures more personality instead of just showing an element. I liked how you used pictures of tattoos as well, they were small and simple and got the idea of the element across. I enjoyed your slideshow. Thanks for sharing.
Love your pictures, especially the tattoo picture for balance. I love elephants and the way the picture describes balance with their trunks making a heart is really cute. Elephants are overall lovable animals and the picture puts emphasis on the love. I also really love your picture for emphasis, very unique way to express emphasis. I am always fascinated in face paintings and this face painting expresses the skull but also color. Very nice job!
